The
purpose of the Tutoring Program is to assist minority
students at The Ohio State University with enhancing and
enriching their academic skills.
The program provides tutoring in a wide range of general
education courses and selected major courses. Emphasis
is placed on tutoring math, science, languages, statistics,
and economics courses, as well as social science and expository
writing courses.
Any
minority student at The Ohio State University may apply
for a tutor. Priority assignment is given to students
funded by the Office of Minority Affairs.
Study Skills
The
OMA Tutoring Program also provides study skills help for
students interested in improving or enhancing their ability
to study and learn at the college level. Please
