James L. Moore III, Ph.D., is the inaugural director of the Todd Anthony Bell National Resource Center on the African American Male. He is also a tenured associate professor in Counselor Education and the coordinator of the School Counseling Program in the College of Education and Human Ecology. Todd Suddeth received his Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Akron and his Masters Degree in Public Policy and Management at The Ohio State University.  Todd serves as an advisor to many student organizations at the University, and has been an advocate for the academic and career development of students.  A native of Warren, OH, he is a member of the Ray Miller Institute for Change and Leadership Alumni Organization, Columbus City Schools African American Advisory Council, Friends of the Columbus Library, and the American Red Cross Diversity Task Force Committee.

Tai A. Cornute is a native of Columbus, OH. He received his Bachelor’s of Science in Social Work in 2008. He currently serves not only as Program Assistant, but as an advisor and mentor to many student organizations at the University. Tai’s interests include spirituality, community service, leadership development, mentoring, sports and hip hop music. He will be pursuing his MA degree in the Fall of 2010.  

  

 Robert Bennett III

Robert A. Bennett, III is a native of Decatur, Georgia.  He graduated from Morehouse College in 2004 earning a Bachelors of Arts degree in History, Cum Laude with Honors.  Bennett also received his Master of Arts degree in History from The Ohio State University in 2007.  Currently he is working on a Ph.D. at The Ohio State University. His research examines the intersection of sports, politics, and religion in 20th Century America.   Bennett also serves as an Outreach Consultant at Columbus Africentric Early College for the Center for Study and Teaching of Writing at The Ohio State University.

Ron Parker

Ron Parker received his B.S. degree in Mathematics from the University of Dayton and his M.A. in Technologies of Instruction and Media from the College of Education and Human Ecology School of Policy and Leadership at The Ohio State University. Ron serves as program manager at the Frank W. Hale, Jr. Black Cultural Center where he supervises approximately 100-plus federal work study students, and serves several student organizations as an advisor. Ron is a native from Cleveland, Ohio and an alumnus of Glenville High School. As the first Bell Doctoral Fellow, Ron’s research interests are African American males, social constructivism, online social networks, identity development, media and film, and video analysis and production. He is a member of Faith Ministries Church.
