Shannon Gonzales-Miller
Shannon hails from Fremont, California. She has been with the Office of Minority Affairs, Minority Scholarship Services since 1984 serving in various roles. Shannon earned a Bachelors of Science and a Masters of Art from Ohio State's College of Education. She plans to pursue a PhD in Education.
Academic Coordinator
Kelly M. Stockard
A welcome addition to the MSS staff, Kelly recently took over the role of Academic Coordinator. She assists with the advising needs of the office, serving over 3000 OMA Funded Students. Kelly holds a Bachelors of Arts in African American and African Studies from The Ohio State University.
Graduate Assistants
Shivraman Giri
Shivraman Giri is from Pune, Maharashtra in India, where he earned his undergraduate studies in Electronics Engineering in 2003 from VJTI, Mumbai, India. He then worked for Infosys Technologies Limited from August 2003 to September 2005. After that, he worked for Lehman Brothers from October 2005 to March 2006. He joined The Ohio State University in the spring of 2006 for Master’s program in Biomedical Engineering. His research is in the field of Cardiovascular MRI and CT. He has been a GAA with OMA-MSS since the summer of 2006 and is currently developing a Relational Database Application for OMA-MSS.
Sirita Harvey (YSP Liaison)
Sirita Harvey is from Toledo, Ohio. She obtained her Bachelors of Arts degree at The Ohio State University in Communications. She is currently attending The Fisher College of Business obtaining her Masters in Labor and Human Resources. Sirita is presently working as the liaison between the Young Scholars Program and Minority Scholarship Services offices. She has been with MSS since Autumn 2007.
