Collegiate Services

The Collegiate Services office offers support to both pre-collegiate and collegiate participants in the Young Scholars Program by assisting in the college transition and by offering continued support to Scholars through graduation. In conjunction with The Ohio State University's Office of Admissions and the Office of Minority Affairs Minority Scholarship Services office, we provide application assistance and financial aid education including FAFSA and Funds For Your Future workshops.

We offer an early enrollment program, IMPACT, which gives students an opportunity to "settle in" and familiarize themselves with the campus while receiving valuable information about university support services.

Once students have enrolled at The Ohio State University, we collaborate with a number of offices in helping to insure their access to various university services often including those offices in our quarterly meetings with students. Services include meeting individually with students as well as larger group access to financial aid education, counseling, and study and time management skills development. We collaborate closely with other Office of Minority Affairs offices such as Academic Advancement Services, Tutoring and Mentoring in order to enhance the college experience and increase retention.
