City Programming

The Ohio State University Office of Minority Affairs Young Scholars Program is present in 9 of the largest urban school districts in the state of Ohio. The districts are Akron, Canton, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Lorain, Toledo and Youngstown.

Annually YSP inducts 6th graders to become participants in the Pre-Young Scholars Program. In grades 7-12 participants engage in workshops focused on academic enrichment, personal development and career exploration. Scholars in good standing upon graduation receive an appropriate financial aid package to The Ohio State University.
