MSP Online Process will be Available September 14th, 2009
The MSP process has changed:
·         First of all, there is no separate MSP paper and/or online application.   To get this scholarship process in motion, you must fill out an admissions application at https://www.applyweb.com/apply/osu/undergrad by December 1, 2009 (The earlier the better)
·         Then upon receipt of the admissions application, you will receive an email from the Program Manager.  In the email you will be asked to return to this site (oma.osu.edu/recruitment) with your OSU ID and create a password for your MSP account.  (MSP online process will become available September 14, 2009)
·         Upon doing so, you will need to review the personal data listed, correct and/or fill in any missing data, and accept the created MSP scholarship application page as your submission to begin the MSP scholarship process.   Click on 2 of the 5 statements after logging on:
o   I accept this created online application, I have read, reviewed and corrected any/all personal data listed and I will be finishing the process by December 1, 2009.
o   I give my Guidance Counselor the authority to view my application for any discrepancies and make corrections on the high school academic criteria.
o   I prefer to use self-reported academic criteria.
o   I do not wish to apply for this diversity scholarship program.
o   Please do not contact me in reference to this scholarship program.
·         You will not need to mail in separate copies of the High School Transcript, College Prep Form, and Activity List.  We will request copies of these materials from the Admissions Office.
·         The only requirements left for you to complete are answering the MSP online essay question and all its parts, have two nonrelatives’ recommendation forms filled out online, and mark your MSP application as complete and click for submission.  Once admitted and OMA has received all required materials for the MSP application, candidates will be reviewed for consideration.
·         If you are not interested in finishing the process for this scholarship, just email the Program Manager and let her know you are not interested (morrillscholars@osu.edu) and she will remove you from all OMA communications.  Indicating a reason “why” is very helpful.

The MSP Program Manager will be in frequent communication with you and collaborating with your OMA recruiter to make sure we are answering all your questions, checking on your status, and processing your MSP scholarship materials for review by the MSP Selection Committee as quickly as possible.
