MCEOP is operated through Ohio State's Office of Minority Affairs (OMA). Support from the Office of Minority Affairs can assist MCEOP student/employees with:

  • Referral to OSU's Office of Continuing Education and Access to Ohio State
  • Academic Advising
  • Tutoring
  • Mentoring Support
  • Monitoring & Referral Services

Minority Continuing Education Opportunities Program (MCEOP)

MCEOP makes getting started the easiest part.

We know that many times, the hardest part of returning to school is actually taking the first step. Ohio State's Minority Continuing Education Opportunities Program (MCEOP) is designed specifically to ease the transition into further education and assist student/employees of color on the road to successful academic and professional career.

How? MCEOP provides a one course at a time, tuition advance, giving the necessary financial first leg up for student/employee of color to begin their studies. Once a student/employee has been accepted into the university and registered for classes. MCEOP advances a credit sufficient to cover the tuition of one class.

Why Go Back To School? Why Not, is more like it. MCEOP can help a student/employee:
