Administration/Special Programs

OMA offers a recruitment program at the graduate and professional levels in collaboration with The Graduate School, Professional Colleges, and certain student organizations. An annual event since 1971, the Graduate & Professional Schools Visitation Days (GPSVD) collaborates with a long list of institutions that has consistently seen its graduates receive post-baccalaureate degrees at The Ohio State University. This arm of OMA is also responsible for selected publications, and administers other programs and events: The National Conference on Diversity, Race & Learning every May, The McNair Scholars Visit every June, The Graduate & Professional Student Orientation & Reception every September, and The Faculty/Staff Colloquy in November. It also supports the OMA Career & Job Fair and its Coordinating Committee in hosting the largest student-run career & job fair every January.
