Faculty/Staff Colloquy
This annual event is a collaborative effort between the Office of Minority Affairs (OMA – Administration/Special Programs Unit) and another OSU College and/or Department on a rotating basis. The program is designed to highlight the co-sponsoring colleges’ endeavors in enhancing their diversity initiatives as well as diverse perspectives within their particular field of study. The colloquium brings together faculty, staff, students, administrators, and interested alumni and community members to be enriched by a visiting expert/scholar in the co-sponsor’s discipline followed by a dialog of his/her findings and its implications surrounding inclusion and a multiplicity of understanding. Historically, the Faculty/Staff Colloquy is held annually on the Thursday preceding Thanksgiving.
